This is a great choice for anyone looking for a wood professional clarinet for use in a wide variety of musical settings.With an easy to maintain regulation and comfortable hand and finger spacing ideal for younger players, the straight bodied Vito 7181 contra alto clarinet is the first choice among band directors. Control and balance on this clarinet are excellent. In comparison to the modern Buffet clarinets this Leblanc does seem to be more open at its core. The L7 plays with a warm sound rich in overtones. It will be completely disassembled, cleaned, oiled, and have all new pads and material. This clarinet arrived to us on old pads, and is currently in our repair shop in line for a complete restoration. There is currently minor tarnish on the keys but this will be cleaned up in our shop before shipping. The bell and barrel are also in fantastic original condition. There are mild scratches but no cracks (or previous crack repairs) or chips to either joint. The body of the clarinet is in excellent condition and has never received any major repairs. If you are looking to get a nice professional clarinet for a great price the L7 is a fantastic choice.
